Craps
Rule
Authority:
InterCasino Craps is played
and programmed according to Atlantic City Gaming
rules. Authority: New Jersey Casino Control Commission. Rule Exception:
None.
Premise:
The game of Craps
is an exciting game of chance, popular since the
times of the Romans. The objective of Craps is to
predict the outcome of a roll of the dice.
How to Play:
Betting:
Your chips are stacked by denomination ($1,
$5, $25, $100, $500) at the bottom right hand
corner of the screen above the User label. Select
the amount you would like to wager on a given
roll(s) by clicking the left mouse button on the
chip of that denomination. This activates that
specific chip denomination.
Next, place
your bet on the Craps table by clicking on a bet
field. To specify a bet that does not equal to an
existing chip denomination, simply click on
another chip denomination after placing your
previous chip on the table. For example, to bet
$30, click on the $25 chip and place it on the
table then click on the $5 chip and place it on
top of the $25 chip.
There are many types
of bets available in Craps (both regular and
"supplementary" ones after the first roll), all of
which are summarized in the following two sections
below. Your total bet will be displayed in the "Total Bet" field to the right of your
Balance.
You have the option of throwing the dice yourself
or having the computer throw the dice for you
Rolling: If you prefer to throw the
dice yourself please click on the checkbox just
below the Roll button. Once you have placed your
bet(s) on the table, press the "Roll" button. A
new game window will appear at the right-hand side
of the screen. Simply pick up the dice that are
sitting in the dice tray by left-clicking on them.
To release the dice, simply release the left-mouse
button. This shooter window will close
automatically once the dice have stopped rolling.
If you prefer not to throw the dice make
sure that the checkbox underneath the Roll button
is de-selected. After placing your bets on the
table click on the Roll button and the dice will
be rolled for you. The outcome for the last five
rolls is displayed in the top left-hand corner of
the screen. You may close this window by clicking
on the 'x' in the top-left corner of the window.
Anytime you win or lose money, a message will be
displayed in a rectangular window at the top of
the game screen.
Types of bets &
their payoffs:
Some bets are available
only for the Come Out roll. A black marker is
displayed in the top left-hand corner of the Craps
table prior to a Come Out roll. Some bets are
available only after a Point has been established.
A Point is established if the Come Out roll is
either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. The number rolled, is
called the Point and the next roll(s) is called
the Point roll. Point rolls continue until the
shooter rolls a 7 or the Point. Once this happens,
the sequence starts again with the next roll as a
