Video Poker (multi-hand)
Rule
Authority:
InterCasino Multi-Hand
Video Poker is played and programmed according to
Atlantic City Poker rules. Authority: New
Jersey Casino Control Commission. Rule Exception:
None.
Premise: An InterCasino
Multi-Hand Video Poker machine operates like any
Video Poker machine found in the casinos
throughout the world. Players may play up to ten
hands at the same time, and are dealt five cards
per hand. The objective is to make the best poker
hand possible by holding cards.
One
difference, which is greatly favorable for the player, is that you can switch your bet from $0.10
to $5 a game without changing to another machine.
A 52-card deck is used (53 for Joker Poker) for each hand played and is
reshuffled after each hand. The different
combinations and their respective payoffs for each
machine are shown in the Payoff section below. One
more variation is the Double Up feature that
allows players to double any winnings in a simple
"double or nothing" bet at the end of their hand.
How to Play:
To begin
playing Multi-Hand Video Poker select which coin
denomination you wish to play - $0.10, $0.25,
$0.50, $1, $2, or $5. To increase or decrease
denominations, please click on the "right arrow"
or "left arrow" buttons, respectively, at the top
of the Multi-Hand Video Poker machine.
Once you have selected your coin
denomination, you need to select the size of your bet. You may click on the
"Bet One" button up to
the amount of coins you would like to play to a
maximum of 5 coins. If you would like to play with
the maximum amount of coins (5), you may
alternatively choose to simply click the "Bet
Max" button.
When you are ready, click on the "Deal" button to distribute the
cards. You will be
given 5 cards.
The machine uses a 52
card deck (53 for Joker Poker) for each hand
played, which is played fresh after each hand.
Hold onto the card(s) that you need in
order to achieve the highest ranked poker hand
possible. You may hold cards by simply clicking on them. When you do so, the held cards will be
displayed with the word HOLD on them. Once you
have selected a given amount of cards to hold,
click on the "Draw" button. The cards that were
not marked HOLD will be replaced. If after this
replacement you have any combination of cards that
qualifies for a payout, your credit will be
increased by the amount of coins shown in the Paid
field.
Double Up:
If you
have qualified for a payout, the Double Up button
will become active. The Double-Up feature offers
users the ability to bet their winnings in a
simple proposition bet. If the card drawn by
player is higher than the card drawn by the dealer, player doubles his
winnings. If the cards
are the same nothing happens. You can continue to
play this double up feature as long as you
continue to win.
To change the type of
Video Poker machine you are playing, click on
"Games" in the menu bar and select the game you
would like to play. When you change the game type,
your credit and coin denominations will not change.
Note: You can only
change the Video Poker machines when your hand is
finished, i.e. when the BET buttons are active.
Progressive Jackpot Games:
The following games offer a progressive
jackpot: 25¢ Super Jackpot and $1 Super Jackpot.
Unlike regular video poker games, progressive
video poker games operate on a fixed denomination.
So, if you are playing 25¢ Super Jackpot and you
would like to switch to $1 Super Jackpot, you need
to exit the 25¢ Super Jackpot game and then enter
the $1 Super Jackpot game. If you are playing a
regular video poker game for $2 or $5 and then
switch to a progressive video poker game, the
denomination and Credits will change to the match
the denomination of the game selected. The top
payout on a progressive jackpot machine is not
fixed as in regular video poker games. The Jackpot
value starts from 1250 coins and grows each time
anybody makes a bet.
Payoffs:
Currently you can choose any of 7 Video
Poker games. The different games and their
respective payouts are described below.
